small dog owners....what time intervals do you walk your dog?

our pug/beagle mix seems to need to pee every 2 1/2 hrs (he's 9 months old) but he'll go 12 hrs overnight without needing to go!

reggie lifts his leg alot- we cant keep up with him. I beleive that he saves a little pee to mark his territory with. Unfortunately we havent found any solution as of yet. At 8 months preggo I cant be walking him every 2 hours so unfortunately Im emabarassed to say he uses the wall quite often and I follow him around with a bottle of natures miracle. Luckily he does his big pee in the morning and evening out side so its not so bad. If you figure something out let me know.

charlotte is 16 months old and now can be left for about 8 hours. it took a bit!

Oscar can go 8 hours as long as he is not in a new environment or around other dogs. When there are other dogs around, he pees a lot.

3 - 4 times a day, so about every 4 - 5 hours

Well, Larry David's over 3 so it's not exactly the same but he goes three times a day. DH takes him out before he leaves for work (around 8AM), I walk him when I get home from work (around 5:30PM) and usually DH walks him before he goes to bed - anywhere from 10:30PM to 12AM.

Weekends are different but still 3x's a day.

our boston terrier winnie goes 3 times a day:
7:45 in the morning
6:00 in the evening
10:30 at night

when she was under 1, she used to go a lot more often. we had a dog walker that took her out at noon, and we would walk her an extra time in the evening. as your dog gets older, he'll be able to hold it longer. good luck!
