***Sunday NW Question of the Day***

Hi girls! Sorry this question is coming so late but I'm nursing a major hangover from TWOTY. I also think I'm getting sick on top of it so it's not fun at all! Which brings me to my QOTD...

Which of you is the better care taker toward the other person? It can be in terms of when you're sick or just day to day things.

I have to be honest and say I am much better at taking care of DH than he is of me. He's playing video games while I've been laying around sick all day! If the situation was opposite I'd be making him tea and soup all day!

I think we are equally bad lol...neither of us want to get sick so we basically quarantine the other person in one room! hehe

DH is wonderful when it comes to taking care of me. When he's sick he is so damn whiny I want nothing to do with him but when I'm sick I usually just lay on the couch and cry and he'll occasionally bring me soup or tea. And tissues. I always need tissues. He's great.

DH takes very good care of me, and I take very good care of him too when he is sick, even when he's a MAJOR baby! lol

I am better in general, i.e. household chores, cooking dinner, etc., but he is much more attentive to me when I am sick, than I am of him when he is sick

I am better at everything. DH is a bit of a momma's boy, and it's carried over. So I take care of his meals (except for weekend breakfasts which he does), the cleaning, when he's sick...he really doesn't do anything for me in terms of care. It took him about 15 minutes to figure out how to use the teapot when I asked for tea once, which is remarkable given that he's an otherwise brilliant engineer. When I was sick last month, he left me dying on the couch to go to a hockey game. Yeah!

I think we're pretty equal. DH will hear me in the middle of the night if I'm sick and get up to get me some medicine or anything else he thinks will help. I do the same for him.

Well I can only answer this to a point, since DH will be moving in this up coming weekend.
As far as right now I am the better one but, when he gets on my nerves I put it to a holt. His mom spoiled him and I have a problem with spoiled brats .

I will say it is kind of equal where we both will make each other soup or run out for anything but we both definitely will throw each other in the other room to sleep. lol lol

DH is an AMAZING care taker of me. Whether I am sick or not, he is always getting me things when I am laying in bed...I'll yell out..'Baaaabe, can I get some water?' and he never really complains. He is great like that. I am good at taking care of him when he is sick, but it gets old quick.

DH is pretty good at taking care of me... he'll go to the store and buy me soup and cold medicine.

DH has a pretty good immune system (knock on wood) and I don't really remember him ever being really sick... just when he had his wisdom teeth out and I think I did a pretty good job of taking care of him then.

since last weekend he was sick, and this weekend i am... i can safely say that we are both lucky to be with each other. he's a sweet, caring guy who takes really good care of me right back :o)

He is much better at taking care of me. He has endless patience with dealing with me. I have none.

But I do my share of caring for him too.
