Tip for what to do with Kids at Reception

GIVE THEM CAMERAS!!!

Really cheap disposables - they LOVED them at my wedding, they ran around taking pics of everything.

Someone asked me where to get them. I got mine on eBay, but there's also www.janeweddings.com. I didn't develop these either, so I got the cheapest I could find. Also try www.orientaltradingcompany.com for little bags to put them and whatever other things you get them in. Then assign the oldest kid in your family (or a BM or GM) to pass them out to the kids at the beginning of the reception.

my RBs had cameras and my SIL developed them and they were everyone from the waist down - so funny!

If there is a bridal suite, you could always hire a HS kid for the night (hey whats a few more bucks at this point

) and have them take the kids there if they start to get cranky. I was at a wedding where the kids got a little wild and started running and sliding on the dance floor - they kept bumping into people and it got annoying.
