To the brides getting married this weekend.. and for the rest of the 05 brides not yet married...
Please dont forget that in addition to your 'must take' photo list, give your photographer print outs of photos you want taken. I only gave mine ONE printed pic in addition to my list and when I look at my pics I get more and more depressed because of all the pics I didnt give them to take. I know I cant take back the day, or rewind, and I wouldnt if I could.. but I just wanted to give you all the heads up to do this, so you arent disappointed after you get your pics back like I am! I know I am the only one to blame for this, but I keep getting sad because there were soo many pics of DH and I that I wanted and I didnt get.eta... I will say that they did take EVERY photo I had on my list though, so I am not in any way, shape or form, knocking Duet, I am just trying to help you ladies so you arent in my situation after your wedding.

I'm not sure I understand what do you mean by 'print outs of photos you want taken'.

I'm not sure I understand what do you mean by 'print outs of photos you want taken'.
If you come across a pic you want taken of you and FH.... print it out from your computer and give it to your photographer. I assumed that they would take certain shots and they didnt. So if there are some pics you have seen that you really want taken, print them out so they can see it.

Would you give them those printouts the day of, or at the final meeting?
I gave them the one and only pic I had printed out at our final meeting a few days before the wedding. If you already had your meeting, you could always assign someone to bring them the day of.

I gave our photographer printed-out photos as well as a list and I got an attitude from him
ETA: My DOC said the only problem on my day was my photographer. She had to keep checking up on him. I'm waiting to do my review until I see the results.

This is a great suggestion! I wish I had done the same - actually printed out pics that I wanted to take.

Great point esp. if you are set on certain pics but after I read this I had a different thought about my photos in general....just wanted to put it out there for people...

my photographer had us pose for pics that I never even thought of and I cant wait to see them....Diana..your pics came out GREAT!!!!!!!!

I definately agree! I didn't really get specific about ANY of my pics- just a general must take and many pics I wanted- like one with my mom and me are not there. I wish I had been more insistent since we had plenty of time to get these shots in before the reception.

I totally agree, and on that day you are so preoccupied, you won't be thinking about it, so think about it now, and give them a list before the wedding! That's really good advice Diana, I too felt disappointed in shots that were not taken.

I did that, and i don't think she got any of them, because i don't remember posing for them. I feel sad already, and i don't even have my proofs yet.

I am glad I could help you all!!! I should of taken this advice before my wedding because I read a thread suggesting doing this, but I didn’t. Now there is nothing I can do about it but to suggest it to all of you lovely ladies!!
