Tuesday July 3rd question of the day
Goodmorning ladies it was nice reading all your responses yesterday! Hope everyone had a great start to their week!Today's question is do all you ladies live with your FH or are you moving in after the wedding? For the ladies who already live with FH was it a hard adjustment period? How long before you moved in were you dating and was there a formal conversation where you talked of moving in or did it just happen? And for those who do not live with FH are you nervous about it or do you think it will be an easy adjustment?
I live with FH for almost 3 1/2 years now it was sort of a gradual thing no real conversation was brought up until we moved into our own place which was about 2 1/2 years ago( before that FH was renting a townhouse with one of his good friends/friends gf) it was a pretty easy adjustment FH is very laid back and I was already staying at his place a few nights a week anyways so I knew how he was to live with before it was 'official' lol!
Hope everyone had a good day!

Tuesday July 3rd question of the day
FH and I live together now. We were dating for about 3.5 years before we moved in together. We had been friends for a long time, but college and the military forced our relationship to be long distance for the most part. There wasn't much of an adjustment period, as I had been living in the apartment by myself for a few months already. I found it really nice to have an extra set of hands to help with the chores!

Re: Tuesday July 3rd question of the day
I have been living with FH for about 2 months now and it was not a hard adjustment. We both talked about it after we got engaged & decided that we want to move in first and get all those moving expenses paid off before the wedding so that we will be all settled once the wedding comes. that was one of the reasons why we pushed the wedding back to 2013 (we got engaged in August 2011).It has been great living with FH - I mean of course we have our ups & downs but he helps with things like washing the dishes & cleaning so I am very happy!
It feels more real now that we are on our own but it is one less thing to worry about as we plan for our wedding. It is not easy finding a great place & can be stressfull.
After the wedding we do want to buy a house together.
I LOVE coming home to him every night

Tuesday July 3rd question of the day
FH and I moved in rather quickly. He owns his own home and I was living with my parents. It started out that I was sleeping over on weekends but then after school let out, I was pretty much there all the time. This was only a few months into our relationship so I think it made for a bit of an adjustment period since we were still getting to know each other as well as figuring out our roles within the household. We eventually found our grooves and there are the expected hiccups along the way but I think it is so important to live with someone beforehand bc you really see all sides of someone when you are around them for that long!

Re: Tuesday July 3rd question of the day
My aunt moved out of the apartment on the first level of my parent's home and I told my parents I wanted to move... try to be a little more independent, etc. I had moved in July and we got engaged in August. FH's family was also moving to another house so we decided to just move his stuff over to my apartment instead of the new house.
I feel like there was not really an adjustment period.. We were just so excited to live together!
Now, we have little things here and there that annoy us but overall, its been wonderful!

Re: Tuesday July 3rd question of the day
Wow, I'm in the minority here...
I don't live with FH, despite knowing him 10 years as of this September and dating for 5 years this December.
Part of the reason is we dated long distance for so long, the other is I've stayed at home recently to save up money for a down payment on a house/wedding costs along with FH.
I'm slightly nervous about it, but expect it to be relatively easy. There are many weekends I stay over his house of the weekend and have been there for the good, and the bad. Chore wise we've started splitting up that he likes cooking, washing dishes. I'm better at cleaning, and better at staying on top of laundry.
We've known each other for 10 years, so I know so many of his quirks and habits. There are no illusions as to his behavior.

Re: Tuesday July 3rd question of the day
FH and I have lived together for a year now. We were dating almost 8 years when we decided to move in. I don't know if there was a conversation really. We just felt like it was time for us to move in together and get out of our parents house. I never lived on my own before, not even dorming at college so it took a minute for me to adjust to sharing space with someone else like that. I'm glad we moved in together when we did bc I can't imagine getting married and then moving in with him and finding out about all these little things that he does. No matter how much time you spend together it still isn't the same as living together.

Tuesday July 3rd question of the day
We have been together for three years and we do not live together. He is moving into my place one month before the wedding. He sleeps over two nights a week and his days off are spent at my house as well.I know I will be okay when he moves in because I am the psycho in the relationship and it will be harder for him but lucky for me he knows how to deal with my kind of crazy..that's why I am marry him...LOL

Tuesday July 3rd question of the day
I don't live with FH... I wanted to but my mom is very old fashioned and asked me not to live with him before we got married. I also think she wants me to stay home as long as possible cuz she will miss me alot lol. On the plus side I am saving money in rent by living home. But I do stay at FHa house usually from Thursday night thru Sunday so even though I feel there will be a period of adjustment after I move it, it won't be so bad since I am there almost half the week!

Re: Tuesday July 3rd question of the day
FH and I were dating about 5 months before he officially moved in. (Was fast, I know lol) He was pratically staying over every night before we officially moved in. I joked that I was going to start charging him rent and it just pretty much became official after that. There wasn't really too much of an adjustment period since he was already at my plc almost every night lol. We were living at my old plc a lil over a year and we recently moved into a new plc together at the end of March.

Tuesday July 3rd question of the day
Both FH and I both live at home. We talked about moving into together but with saving for the wedding it does not make sense. We were hoping in together this Sept but with FH not working this summer due to his health were putting it off. Were hoping now late Nov early Dec. We basically take turns living at each other houses. So it will be somewhat of an adjustment but I feel we will be ok. We already know who likes to do what and what we don't like to do.

Tuesday July 3rd question of the day
FH and I do not live together. He spends the night at my house or at spend the night at his place. When we get married we will be moving in together at the apartment downstairs at my mother's house for a little while. Then move into my father's house which will become our house because my father is moving. I do not think it will be a hard adjustment because we know each other's annoying ways and we know how to deal with each other. I can't wait for us to get married and move in together because the traveling back at forth (although we only live about 10-12 mins away from each other) can be a little tiring and annoying. It will be good for us to come home to each other and not have to travel.

Tuesday July 3rd question of the day
FH and I moved in together after about 6 months of dating..we were spending every day and night together so we figured why not get an apartment, and it was just good timing that a friend had a apartment for rent, we lived there for about 8 months, then moved into my moms upstairs together and have been there for about 2 years, we plan on buying a house right after the wedding hopefully..so expensive out here though wah!

Tuesday July 3rd question of the day
We live together. We met in April of 05 online, he deployed for Iraq in October of 05, we meet for the first time on his R&R in May of 06(we spent 2 weeks together)and I moved to Fort Campbell,KY right before he got back from Iraq in Oct of 06. There really wasnt much of a discussion. We wanted to be together but neither wanted to do a long distance relationship. He was in the army so he couldnt move so I moved to where he was. I love living with him!

Tuesday July 3rd question of the day
FH & I have lived together for about 9 months and we will be dating for 2 years in August. I was living at his apartment every weekend since about 3 weeks into our relationship. His landlord was selling the house so he had to move out ASAP and we just ended up moving in together. There really wasn't much of an adjustment.
