**UGH! My sister is SUCH A B$%*#**

UGH..so my sister wants a shade of green as her MOH dress because 'it brings out her eyes'.
I want something different..I've been trying to really picture like celedon green and pale pink for my wedding which I do think is beautiful..but it's just not me.
Anyway..I just called her and told her I was thinking fuschia and oranges and she says 'FUSCHIA??? You're wedding isn't at the circus! And you'll never find a nice dress for me in Fuschia!!!'
UGH. SHE IS THE WORST MOH EVER. Everything is about HER!!!
I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE.
Sorry..had to vent!

You have my sympathy. My MOH told me two days ago she doesn't like the dress I picked, but that I shouldn't worry because she won't like ANY dress I pick.

ETA: My MOH is also my sister.

Wait a minute - what are you doing with MY sister - give her back - no - actually - you can have her!! LOL

She did the SAME exat thing to me- almost verbatim - I said' as much as your eyes are a priority on my wedding day - its not hapening...'

I chose pink...

It feels nice that I'm not alone but what in the world in WRONG WITH OUR SISTERS???!!! It's almost like they think they can say/do/act however they want BECAUSE of the fact that they are our sister!
I'm seriously really pissed off here!

When my MOH demanded a non-strapless long chiffon dress (btw I had just told her my vision of a tea-length, strapless dress), I told her I am the bride and if she is going to fight me on my choices she doesn't have to be in the bridal party! Well she got over that and she actually really loves the dress I picked

Don't let her bully you. BTW I love fuschia BM dresses! Gorgeous choice

It was a toss up for me between fischia and light pink - I haoppened to like the shade of light pink, otherwise I would have gone for fuschia as well - LOVE fuschia!!

You do as you want... if fushia you want, then fuschia it is. I was in a wedding years ago and wore fuschia- the dress was hideous, but the color was very nice. It's not about your sister, it is not about her eyes...it is about your wedding and your vision!

I agree completely!!!! It's your wedding, not a photo shoot of how great her eyes look in a green dress.

I love love love fuschia and orange!
Reminds me of summer sunsets.

ETS- Red is opposite of green on the color wheel.
I have green eyes, the BEST color for them is red.
If that's her arguement, then just tell her you picked fuscia to bring out her eyes!
A little reverse psych, everyones happy !

ha, that's why I'm not giving my sister any options

My bms are my sister and my best friend... my friend and I will go and pick a dress that we like that will be flattering on her, and then we'll just find a version of it that will fit my sister (since the two have basically exact opposite body types).

Then again, my sister is a completely self absorbed and angsty 16, so she's not really in this whole wedding frame of mind anyway, and my parents will pay for her dress, so she's got no reason to care.
