We are officially home owners

We closed on the house today.... and we will be husband and wife in two days!

His mother gave us a great gift too.... we had asked her to loan us the closing costs till after the wedding.... she told us today to keep it!!! she had already given us 30,000 and now she is up to 50,000. PLUS, she gave us all our crystal and fine silverwear.... Atleast now we wount be in as MUCH debt!

Congratulations - I bet there is no feeling in the world like being a homeowner! What a great way to ring in the new year (besides the wedding of course! )

Thanx... it is kinda scary... they showed us how much we will have paid in the end, after 30 years... it was scary.... but this is exciting.... I bought FH a door knocker as a wedding gift and on the knocker part is says est. 2005.... cheesy yes, but makes the place ours alittle

Congrats!! It's a great feeling huh?

Now that the wedding is over, I'm having fun getting the house together even though I grumble about it to DH. I'm so excited to make it OUR home!
