Wedding 1 year away, too soon to go dress shopping?
My wedding is almost 1 year away and I'm not sure when to start looking for my dress. If I started shopping soon and found a dress I loved, would it be too soon to order?

Not too soon- perfect time
I went last October for my dress. Some dresses can take 9 months to come in. You don't want to have to pay a 'rush' charge. Go and try on your dresses. You will know when you find the perfect dress. Also, it helps when you have a bit more time to pay for it too.

Wedding 1 year away, too soon to go dress shopping?
I think it is to early, but that's b/c I'm only having an 140 day engagement and with that time frame I just recieved all my dresses, my mom's, mine and my girls a few weeks ago and got all my first choices. Make sure if you order your dress soon that the bridal shop has storage, most stores won't order it when you pay your deposit b/c it will just be sitting around until you want your first fitting but other stores might get it in fast and you will be stuck with your dress in your house. Unless you are getting a designer who only cuts there dresses once a year you don't really need to go out that early, but hey look around it's fun. The first dress and first store I went to, is my wedding dress!! I heard this happens alot so who knows you might be ordering it real soon! lol Just my advice, stay away from Adriene's in Islip or look there but don't buy. Best of luckWelcome New Vendors
