Wedding Bands (Music)
So I thought picking a venue was hard?? My fiancé and I finally chose the North Ritz and we're really excited about it. Now onto bands...So far we like Code Bleu the best and they've gotten good reviews but I'm still thinking we should listen to more. We wanted to hear Arcadia but they are booked for our date. Does anyone have info on Code Bleu or any other bands you'd recommend?? Help!!

Re: Wedding Bands (Music)
Try Times Square Orchestra...they are great! They do showcases all the time so you can hear them in person.

Re: Wedding Bands (Music)
I am the one who has Arcadia booked on your date, sorry! Love them, they are awesome
FYI Code Bleu was already booked for 3/23 when we contacted them a few months ago. I would suggest looking into Paris (http://www.parismusic.com/). For my fiance and I it was between Arcadia and Paris. Both were very similar and both amazing. It was a tough decision for us between the two. Also, there is another band under Long Island Paramount in addition to Arcadia. I can't remember their name and didn't look into them at all, but maybe they are similar? Good luck in your search! I was totally stressed out deciding on the band! Definitely worse than picking the venue!

That is funny about the date. We are not teachers, we just happened to book 3/23 without realizing the significance for teachers. We quickly realized though when vendors started telling us they were booked up already which I thought was odd since it was more than a year out, and its a March date which should be off peak wedding season. It was actually the girl at Skyline Orchestras that told us about the teachers thing when she told us Code Bleu was already booked. I obviously stopped my research on them when I found out they were booked so we never went to see them in person but I have really heard great things. Close friends/relatives have been to 3 different weddings they have played at and everyone raved about them. I know its a big decision but I'm sure you cant go wrong with them. Good luck!

FAZE 4 METROPOLIS! They were unbelievable! People rushed the dance floor as soon as the first notes started to play. They booked weddings the night of our wedding from engaged friends!

Re: Wedding Bands (Music)
We are booked with Dreamkast. I, too, am a teacher getting married on March 23. Dreamkast is a fairly new band but the two main singers are from Heart and Soul which has been around for a while. We went to a ton of bands-Hank Lane, Faze 4, Times Square Orchestra, Timepiece, Todd Barrie and none compared in our eyes to the voices of the main female vocal of Dreamkast.

Re: Wedding Bands (Music)
Wonder if others feel the same way, but I found showcases really flat. They are so different from the energy of a real wedding...
