What are you wearing to your shower??

I can not find a dress I like and was wondering if you ladies think skinny jeans boots and a nice sweater is good or should i be dressed up a little more??

mine's a little informal- it will be at my aunts house- so i am going to wear a sun dress- but I think jeans and a nice shirt are fine- my friend had hers at a nice place & wore that and it looked cute

This is what I'm wearing to my shower. It's very casual and will be comfy. I don't think there's anything wrong w/ wearing jeans to your shower. You should be comfy sitting there opening up all your presents!

I think that's a cute outfit. Even though it's jeans, you'll be wearing boots and I'm sure a dressier type of sweater.. so I think it works. I'm having the same dilemna... have no idea what to wear!

I tend to be a girlie girl and like to wear dresses to events etc., so I wore a dress my mom bought for me to my shower.

This is all the girls in my BP - the only picture I have showing my dress full length

I think jeans and boots sound fabulous! The most important thing is that you are comfortable and feel good in what you're wearing. If you're going to be self-conscious wearing a dress then don't do it. I bought a black wrap dress at the Gap but I plan on buying another dress or two so I can keep it in FH's or my BM's car

I think jeans are fine!!

I wore a skirt with footless tights, heels and a plain black shirt.....I wasn't too fancy and most importantly I was comfortable.

i have no idea since it should be a surprise BUT maybe i'll ask someone to hold onto an outfit to bring....probably a dress....ugh the thought of not having ANY make up on and being in my sweats scares me!

Same! However, I have seen nice jeans and boots and cute top and depending on where you have it, that can be really nice too!

I personally think you should be a little bit more dressed then jeans (especially if you know about your shower and aren't being surprised) but it also depends on the formality of the event.

If you can't find a dress what about dress pants and a nice top?

i have no idea!! i have a bunch of casual dresses (cute fitted long sleeve or 3/4 sleeve dresses) that i bought for the honeymoon. I might decide to use one of those...but i didnt want FH to see the dresses that i bought for the HM yet, and they are pretty similar to one another so i'm not sure....PLUS i have no clue when my shower is, i have my suspicions...but i'm not really sure, so knowing me i will end up thinking it's my shower and it wont be, lol

You have to wear what makes you happy....personally I love to dress up and look for any occasion to so I will probably wear a dress...but if you love jeans then i say go for it!

i was looking at bebe yesterday..they have really cute dresses.

I want something in a color or white...
Like peach or pink...or champagne to match my girls dresses.

I have been dying to find a cute sweater dress but I haven't been able to... I saw a couple at Express a few weeks ago but neither of them looked good on me. Can anyone recommend a store ?? I would love to wear one with high boots to my shower...
