NEW Which Cruise Line is Best
Dawn's Honeymoon Specialists
We took Princess on our honeymoon and we had a great time! It has been said that cruises are for thr over-fed, the newlywed or the nearly dead! its not true! My husband was in a pool contest (belly flop) on the grand princess and we won the Honeymoon Olympics on their private island. Tug of war, Beer chugging relay and some kind of limbo stick game does this sound like an old person type of cruise.
Actually we had a table for four and we loved the other couple. They were in their early forties and we were in out mid twenties, but it was a great time. We had the option for dining alone or with them, thanks to the Personal Choice dining options, but we ate with them every night.
I have been on @ 14 different cruises from the Party ships of Carnival to the Sailing for senoirs ships of Celebrity. I would have to say that Royal Caribbean and Princess are my personal favorites for a honeymoon.
You asked about amenities, what sort are you interested in? Number of pools and Jaquzzies number of lounges and bars or maybe the size of the gym is important to you. I like the spa treatments, and I love the balconies of the newer ships( they are now more affordable)
I love to talk about crusies so fire away, what questions do you have?
