Winter Wedding

My wedding is January 13, 2012 so I am going with a winter theme. I don't want anything Christmas related so no red or ornaments or anything like that. I want to do something different. I would love to see some ideas that you guys can suggest for me.

Re: Winter Wedding

winter wonderland with snow as a feature, your colors can be silver n white. You can have trees as centerpieces with white crystal branches resembling a tree w snow. I have seen snowflake designed place card holders. I think if you search can find quite a bit. You could also have crystals hanging from the ceiling resembling snow flakes.

just some thoughts...

Winter Wedding

White birch with lots of lush pine greenery. It's just screams winter! And smells delish!

I have a semi related question since you said you dont want red/Christmas like..do you know if your hall will still have Christmas decor up? We have been tossing around the idea of January but I also want to stay away from Christmas decor.

Winter Wedding

I had a friend who had a winter wonderland theme for an elegant birthday party. She had silver-sparkly(sorta) trees with little silver flashy snowflakes hanging off them as centerpieces. It actually looked really nice!

I think she also used dark blues. Not sure if that might come across looking too close to hannukah but hers definitely didnt.

I would try for pearly colors and silver with a shade of blue for pop!
