Re: Would you be upset or flattered?
I don't know. COnsidering you aren't close and you weren't even invited to each others wedding, I wouldn't be upset. I am sure there are a ton of people out there that had the same dress as me. I would be flattered and not pay it much mind.

Re: Would you be upset or flattered?
if it was me, i tend to make snarky comments especially when i dont particularly care if the person gets offended so i would probably post a photo comment or something.but in the end - all your friends know her deal and were at your wedding etc. so i would mostly just be flattered and amused

Re: Would you be upset or flattered?
i'd think she was pathetic for klepto-ing all of my ideas. i may say something snarky - like 'wow i think i should get a commission off this'but i might just let it go. it would bother me, but at the same time, not worth the bother.

I've had a few friends e-mail me 'did you know she had the same dress' and 'did you lend it to her'---I kind of want to know why she decided to 'cancel' the order on her other dress (she told me she bought a Henri Roth design) and purchase the same one as mine! Its just weird and I would think it would come up over coffee a few months back! Soo weird!!

Re: Would you be upset or flattered?
At first I would be SUPER pi$$ed off!!! Probably b!tch a whole lot to DH about how much of a nut she is.But as a third party in all of this - I wouldn't let it eat you up or even flatter you. I'd just ignore it.
You've painted a pretty clear picture of what type of person she is - you got married first, you've started a life with DH so she is basically just a stepping stone you took until you got to this place in your life.
I see it as neither her nor there - just another story to tell. KWIM?!?!!

Re: Would you be upset or flattered?
I will be super mad and defriend her, block her and bad mouth her everywhereLMAO
OR will change my FB pic to the one that shows my dress the best and post 'wow never seen such a GORGEOUS dress like that before'

Re: Would you be upset or flattered?
I'd send her an invoice - as apparently you were her wedding planner!!If it were me - I'd be really ticked at first.... try to convince myself it is a form of flattery - then do the snarky comments so she'd know I'm still miffed and then just leave it be... (and of course unfriend her from FB).

I would probably make the snarky comments as well 'Like, WOW! Looks so much like my dress!' Or even call her out on it 'when did you change your dress to completely match mine? I'm flattered and creeped out all at the same time :)' I might even photoshop her picture next to mine and do a 'who wore it better' post!
You also said she was a complusive liar so I guess she hasn't changed like you wanted her too. It's over and done with and just be flattered but keep your distance from the crazy...

Re: Would you be upset or flattered?
I'd probably make a sarcastic comment on facebook, but wouldn't be mad. Doesn't sound like you are anyway. And my mantra is 'Imitation is the highest form of flattery.'

OMG! Wow. It's one thing to know she wore the same thing, it's another to see it side by side like that. And you totally wore it better, and I really am NOT just saying that!

Re: Would you be upset or flattered?
that is actually pretty funny. if you really want to be snarky, i would post something like'Hey ___, i wish you would have told me that you changed your dress. i would have totally lent you mine'

OMG you sooo wore it better! She's all boneyBut seriously....OMG!!!!
What a nut job. I'd be pissed off with a hint of flattered. I would never EVER let her know I was a lil flattered though.

Re: Would you be upset or flattered?
Wow! That's funny to see them side by side like that. And you totally look better in the dress...not just saying that but look at your boobs compared to hers and also where the belt hits...you look SO much better. And does anyone see the bridesmaids dress or whatever to the right? It's one of the dresses that they had to re-make from Project Runway - the sideways bow person.

Re: Would you be upset or flattered?
My first reaction would be W T F is wrong with this girl, but I'd then just have to laugh and be flattered.Your dress is GORGEOUS GORGEOUS, and I don't think her belt is as lovely as yours!

Re: Would you be upset or flattered?
I would make a comment to the effect of 'hey that dress looks awfully familiar!'But honestly, if she got married AFTER me....I wouldn't be upset....I'd just take it as either extreme flattery or that she's too dumb to come up with her own ideas
