another lotion question

how often do you guys apply body lotion to your legs, etc?

i find that if I don't apply I get really, really dry skin. Is this normal? Like I'll go a couple of days/showers without applying and I definitely notice it....

but i need lotion everyday or my skin starts looking like reptile skin..GROSSS

i try to do it everytime I shower...depending on how i'm doing w/time....

I lotion up every single morning year round, no matter what, head to toe.

i think i apply lotion 3x a yr... a week after i come back from vacation. i get mad ashhy

Every other day on average or whenever I feel dry.

i lotion up my legs after i shower, and i lotion my hands and arms/elbows every night before bed. i'm not religious about it, but that's kind of my routine.

i, too, resemble a snake if i don't do it for a few days

In the winter I have to use lotion all the time as my skin tends to be very dry. For some odd reason when my skin is dry it become itchy & then I will scratch until I bleed & then end up with spots of eczema. So to avoid that I apply lotion as soon as I get out of the shower, to my legs & hands, they appear to be the worst. So thats every day.

I don't use lotion at all in the summer. I figure I'm slathering enough with all the sunblock and aloe I use.

But in the winter? Hm... a few times a week. When I remember. Or when DH tells me my legs look like an alligator.
