Because of my DH....

I now have approx. 20 of his ghetto a$$ relatives as FB friends

Just saying. I needed to vent! His one cousin (who is 25 and had 3 kids by 3 different guys, dropped out of school, cannot spell, never worked a day in her life but always has the newest sneakers and cell phones) is constantly filling up my wall with her BS about beating people up...which 'b.itch' is trying to take her 'man'...and all this craziness!!!

I'd delete/block her but he wants me to stay friends with her in case something happens with her mom. BOOOOOO!!!

Just venting!

Has this happened to you guys?

I have this problem from my mom's family. But she was constantly commenting on any and every move I made on FB. Anytime I'd post a photo or status- so I blocked my posts from going to her Newsfeed. So far (it's only been about 2 weeks) so good! I guess out of sight, out of mind really works!

yeah i'm FB friends with all of DH's family ... but most of them aren't quite that annoying (thank God)

can you just hide her status updates rather than deleting her?

crazyass sil and i are NOT friends on facebook.

i am friends with my ILs (they share an account) but i have pretty much everything i do hidden from them.

Totally hide their posts. Also you can adjust your privacy settings so that they can't see your profile.

I have blocked several people.
- THe ones we feel the need to update on their every moment. 'Heading to work, then out later with the Besties' 5 min later ' At work, can't wait to see what's good for tonight'

Just hide them if you don't want drama from deleting them.

DH won't let me defriend SIL and BIL because he thinks it will cause drama...so I just blocked them from being able to write on my wall, see my pictures or status updates or any of my information

I have some crazy cousins ( the type where you dont let them know where you live or invite them over) which Im the only family member who would accept their request. I have them blocked from alot of things, Ive deleted some of them too- honestly I think people dont realize they've been deleted till they cant see your photos or there trying to include you on a mass invite thing, prefrences are the best
