Birth Control

I can not take birth control pills for health reasons and am exploring alternative methods. Although fine when we were dating, condoms are apparently not a fav of my new hubby and since I`m not ready to be a mom, I`m looking for alternatives (and there aren`t many!) I`m considering a diaphram but am not familiar with it, its effective rate, ease of use, etc. Just curious to know if any one can give me some info on it. Thanks.

What about the Deprovera shot? I have a friend who had to stop taking the pill for serious health reasons and they put her on this. I think it is a quarterly shot. I don`t really know much more about it but your ob/gyn would of course

Thanks I'll ask. I have high cholestrol so they won't put me on the pill. I'll ask about the shot.
