Bounced Check
Hi Ladies, as of 2/16 I officially became a Mrs. One of my FI's friends gave us a check for our wedding and it bounced. So now we are out the gift plus another $15 bank fee. Is there any tactful way to handle the situation or should we just let it go. Thank you

Bounced Check
My cousin bounced our wedding check..and then she called me when the bank notified her..to apologize..she said for me to re-deposit it. (usually your bank allows you to redeposit it) so i re-deposited the check..and it BOUNCED AGAIN! Again my cousin called me (laughing) and said she would mail me another check (which she did) but i was hesitant to even cash it..but it cleared..and she even added 30.00 for the amount that the bank fees cost me. I would try to re-deposit the check. The worst that could happen is that you get another 15.00 fee...In fact, the guest probably assumes that you redeposited the check already.. Its totally up to you if you want to call her and ask her if you should redeposit it. I think its better you mention it. good luck Debz
