I'm so glad we are over the bridezilla stage and no one's become newlywedzilla.

I was just browsing the other bride's boards and thought some of this

is unreal!!

Agreed.

I honestly got a lot of crap on the boards because when people would get crazy/unreasonable/selfish I would tell them so.

It was an unfortunate side effect of the current culture. 'Your Day' has become the entire world must stop for the entire duration of you engagement.

Its true- although I was a mini bridezilla with my hall, it was because they were screwing me around, so I had to be. But I never lost sight of respect for my family and friends.

The good thing about LIW is you get honest opinions that keep you (or at least *me*) grounded.

I think I know what you're talking about...it totally blows my mind how selfish people can be when it comes to their weddings.

As far as I was concerned I really didn't care so much if everything was 'just so'...I only cared that the people who were standing up there with me loved me and wanted to be there with me.

I will admit though, I was really a b!tch when it came to the invitations and the plus one issue. that was a legitimate rant, right?

yeah but i was BAD enough to go on a full rant, but then again, I did have aunt flo that week.

weddings are stressful, and everyone has a way of dealing with it....it's just certain things are really really disgustingly petty - like having pregnant BMs.

it could be worse.

I hate to break it to them, but even if you're the biggest bridezilla and control freak, you can't control what every person does that day and things might go wrong!!
