So my patient today actually called my nurse manager and said they didn't want me, they want ONLY a white nurse.

I don't know what she told them, I think she was just in shock and told me to switch patients w/another nurse and to stay away from those patients.

Thats horrible! Its happens a lot in home health too....old people can be so set in their old world ways...even if those ways are ugly.

When I just read this my eyes popped out of my head!!!! That's disgusting! I'm so sorry that happened but like someone else said don't take it personal. If that person acts like that then they are probably a PITA to begin with and you'll be helping them anyway!!!
