So im home sick today but i still need to be a mommy to my kids & walk them. No joke this is what happened.



NDN- would u mind not walking your dogs by my house?
Me- ummmmm. Whattt?!
NDN- i have a big dog in my house & everytime u walk by with your dogs he can smell them and starts messing up my house.

Ive been here for amlost 3 years and no joke almost every homeowener has a dog.

So i callled fh to let him know what happpened boyyy is he pissed. He plans on going overe there after work to talk about our NDN 'request'


Be honest. Should we not be pissed about this?

I think it's ridiculous of your neighbor to expect you not to walk your dogs near their house......considering they're right next door! I mean, if you were walking them on their lawn, that would be a different story. But how do you walk the dogs down the block without passing your neighbor's house?

I'd be pissed. Instead of them trying to train their dog correctly not to go bizerk when they see another dog they're trying to make you take away the catalyst. Tell them to hire a trainer if they don't like the way their dog acts.

I'd be irritated. Their dog is INSIDE and acts nutty? Maybe they need to invest in some obedience lessons for their dog.

that happened to a friend of mine, she lives in a co-op and the neighbor about 3 units down asked her to not walk her dog on the sidewalk by her house because her dog went nuts...
my friend (and her husband) were like.. um, no.
the complex is shaped like an L with them being in the corner, in order to get to an area to walk the dog (um, down sunrise hwy) she has to pass the neighbor, there's no way around it.

well one day her husband was walking the dog and the neighbor let her dog out screaming 'ATTACK!'

and long story short, there was a fight... the woman is a psycho!

so with that story. if you can NOT walk in front of her place, don't... who knows, she might sick her dog on you and use the excuse that it broke out.... but if you have to pass her (no way around it) simply go to the woman, calmly, and explain that there's no way for you to walk your dogs without passing her.

People are so stupid. I have a woman at the end of our block who hates my dogs. Hates them. They pooped once on the curb by her house and even though I cleaned it, she came out and had a flucking fit. To avoid drama, I cross the street and refuse to let my dogs even sniff in front of her house. But yes, I'd be pissed off. I was!

I would be really annoyed if someone asked me that. Really, REALLY annoyed. That person cannot just control all of the sidewalks and streets just because her pups won't stop yapping.

that's a ridiculous request ... they own the house, not the sidewalk / street. i'd just ignore it completely and never talk to that neighbor again.

That neighbor is ridiculous... If her dog was trained, she wouldn't have an issue and its wrong and rude of her to put it on you!
