do you guys believe in

airborne???

i have been sneezing left and right today. i feel fine but i really don't wanna get sick! drinking some now but wondering if its just hullabaloo....

I used to, but then I heard it was a bunch of cr@p. I'm still not sure! I just take straight vitamin c instead!

Nope- I've heard not the best things about airborne.

I work in a school and take Vitamin C daily (along with my multivitamin). There's also these dissolvable tablets from Walgreens I like when i feel like I'm getting sick (similiar to Emergen-C).

I'm a fan of 1000mg of Vit. C and Zicam.

yes but only if you really get it when you first feel something coming on. if you already sneezing and coughing it may or may not work but if its the first day, i would say you have a better chance. its also good if you dont feel something coming on but will be suseptible (sp?) to stuff like in a plane or something but anyway thats another issue lol.

it cant hurt thought at all, its just a super dose of vitamins. i would definatley start taking it asap three times a day, but if you are getting worse still after taking it for 2 days than it wont start to work in my experience

It definitely can't hurt- it's a ton of vitamins and it can help. It's basically the same as everyone telling you to drink lots of OJ when you're getting sick.

The company changed owners for a couple of years, and during that time, the FDA said that airborne doesn't do what it claims to do. It's now back under ownership of the original person, and it's apparently back to being a lot better. I know a few flight attendants that swear by it!

i usually don't buy into that crap. but it's vitamins, and vitamins boost your immune system to help your body fight off virus and bacteria.

with that being said, when i feel that i'm getting sick, i do everything possible. i HATE being sick.

what 'worked' for me once, were these nasty lozenges from cvs. some homeopathic mumbojumbo that was basically zinc. ICK!! but i didn't get sick. now was it b/c of these lozenges, or a coincidence??

desperate times call for desperate measures..

I used to swear by it... but once it started going all commercial it started to suck!
if you take vitamins on a daily basis, then it wont work, because all it is is vitamins all mushed together.

I take a daily supplement from Emergen-C and if I feel something coming on I jus double my dose.

YES! If I feel something coming on and I have it in the house I'll take some and it'll help. If you're already sick it won't help. My sister (she's a resident down in Jersey Shore) always says to me to drink Gatorade and continue with my daily vitamin. The Vit C helps keep the Vit C in your sysem and prevent sickness but she says that it doesn't do what people think it does. If I keep up on my liquids (no juice, just water or gatorade) then I'm usually good in a day or two. If you just started with symptoms I would say try it.

Feel better! DH got me sick so I know how you feel!

My mom SWEARS by it, but the pharmacist I work for says that it's a load of crap.
