Dude Ranch

Has anyone ever been to either of these?
Pinegrove or Rocking Horse Ranch

Thoughts?? Reviews??

We are thinking of a family weekend trip for my parents 50th anniversary and to try to find something that we all can enjoy is not easy.

Re: Dude Ranch

pine grove is the 'lower end' of dude ranches. but, with that said, i have been there 2-3 times when i was a kid and always had a great time

i haven't been to rocking horse, but i get there emails often. they seem like they have more activities, especially in the summer time.

We are looking for a 3 day 2 night- maybe Columbus Day weekend. We thought about a cruise but jerry and I are doing one in May and then again next year in Europe.

I'm pretty sure that extended family members of mine have gone to Rocking Horse Ranch and really enjoyed it!

Re: Dude Ranch

My family and I went to Malibu Ranch in PA numberous times when I was little. It is nothing fancy AT ALL but it is a real working ranch. They have all different activities, food is all served buffet style in the 'chow room', they have a bar... etc.

It was always a lot of fun. I'd definitely go back as an adult.
