First anniversary celebrations?

I went to see my MIL in the hospital this afternoon. She's fixated on our anniversary (which is only 2 months away). Its a good thing - something positive for her to hold on to and hopefully help her heal faster.

I think she wants to plan a small hoopla for us. Probably at the Milleridge where we had our wedding reception (but in the restaurant). I was surprised, I didn't think anyone would/should make a fuss over us now that we're 'old married folk'.

Congratulations!

I know what you mean Karen...My husband keeps insisting that we eat it now...lol...We have a small freezer, and it takes up way too much space! I'm trying to hold out for the year though...Only 10 more months to go!!

First anniversary celebrations?

That is so sweet of your mother in law to do something like that. We are planning to take a nice trip over that week. I was going to go away in March but decided to save up my time for a bigger vacation in September. We still have to reserve everything but are planning to go on a tour of France Europe and Rome for 11 days. I have never visited anyplace out of the country and neither has he so it is very exciting.

I'll be eating mine on 3/25. Will let you know how it goes!

:)

HE EVEN THOUGHT IT WAS GOOD. MAYBE IT WAS THE FIRST TRIMESTER CRAVINGS BUT I WISH I HAD MORE. I MEAN IT WAS DEF MUCH BETTER THAT DAY BUT ALL IN ALL THUMBS UP!!, DEF WAIT UNTIL THE FIRST YEAR!!!!

Thanks for the info. This is just the beginning of, I'm sure, a very long process of getting a house.
