first anniversary - gifts?

are you guys getting anything (or did you get anything) for your 1 year anniversary?

i really want to do a TTD shoot (if i ever lose weight!). but thats it. so i kinda feel like no gift is fine.

but idk. i really havent thought about it...and now i have 1 month to figure it out

help!

i doubt it.. his bday is 4 days later.. taking him to ac. just cards.

unless i get another amazing swarovski piece.

but we shoudl save our money

We didn't do gifts, just a weekend getaway. We stayed at a nice hotel in the city, saw a show, dinner, museums, etc.

I'm thinking tickets to a Broadway show. He mentioned in passing that he would like to go see something funny and I thought this would be something for both of us.

On the day of our anniversary we are going out to dinner & then hopefully enjoying our one year old frozen cake.
Then in June we are going to St. Thomas. Its a combined I NEED a vacation & anniversary trip.

Not too sure yet. We're going to be coming home from a wedding in Massachusets so who knows what we'll be doing. We're thinking about going away in January so maybe we'll just make that a gift to both of us.

ETA: I just read through the posts and came up with an idea, maybe we'll get Ave Q tickets (I think that was Jill who said see something funny) and stay the night in the city, just a different weekend then our anniversary.

We haven't discussed it yet. I was hoping to go somewhere for the weekend. Actually waiting on the NFL schedule to come out to see if the Chargers are playing at home that weekend. Wanted to get tix for DH cause he's a big fan and has never seen a game in their home stadium. Plus their QB is HOT!
