first married vday

so dh and i aren't huge over the top valentines day people....dh isn't into the whole 'hallmark holiday' thing. BUT, we always like to do something nice like cook a fancy meal together and have drinks at home.

so last night i'm sitting on the couch reading and DH is like...'do you have class monday night?' and i'm like 'ya, of course i do, why do you ask?' and then it dawned on me.

i won't get home from school until 10pm and its the beginning of the semester so it didn't even dawn on me that i won't be home on valentines day. i got kinda sad because he looked so deflated and bummed out....

Awww that stinks. Could you do something Sunday instead? I'm sooooooooooooooo poor this V-Day so DH gets fat lot of nothing.
