we went to porto's for breakfast- awesome cuban food. there's two locations but the one we went to was in glendale. For dinner we went to a brazilian steakhouse. it was relatively cheap but also in glendale. For delicious carne asada (like real mexican) check out King Taco.

I love Sonoma and SF! I know its off topic but I saw Elizabeth mentioned General's Daughter---we ate there too and as I was eating my salad, I suddenly saw a little green thing crawling on my plate! It was an inch worm!!!! I freaked (of course) and the waiter came over like it was nothing and said, sometimes that just happens because everything is so fresh! No discount or anything! Ha, I guess it could have been much worse!

We stayed with friends and spent the majority of our time in del mar which I highly recommend checking out for all the cute shops and restaurants. Also u must hike Torrey pines. in the past I've been to balboa park; corvette diner and sushi on the rock. We went to the zoo which is a must do as well. There was a prego giraffe! Fm me if u want more info.

DH and I went to San Diego 2 years ago and I feel in love. It's one of my top 2 cities in the country. I would move there in a heartbeat if DH said ok. We stayed at the Hard Rock in the Gaslamp district - it was perfect! The hotel was beyond amazing, it's right on the water. Plus that location is great there are so many shops, bars, restaurants in the Gaslamp that you really don't even have to leave. We went to a Padres game, the SD Zoo, Old Town San Diego, Seaport Village (had the best mojito EVER at a restaurant there) and just laid by the pool at the hotel. I'm dying to go back I miss it so much!
