I am so glad that I got it, it was great. At first I wasn't going to have a videographer, but I'm glad I did. They really captured a lot!

That seems like you got it back very fast. Good for you. How is it? Do you love it? I felt so present at our wedding but it`s hardly the same as seeing it all on video...I guess...I just hope the video doesn`t reveal that I`m a horrible dancer and I always thought I was OK :o) I did want a video all along but then I get camera shy at times but when I saw my husband`s brother`s video I realized that I would want this not only for our moments on film but to also preserve the moment in time for other people too. My MIL has Alzheimers and when they had the Mother/Son dance my husband picked a song she knows, she was singing along and it was so special, people were crying all over the place. I will always want to remember her dancing with him just like that. He`s definitely wanted it all along as well, I`m just the analyzer in the relationship :o)

I'm not much of a dancer either, therefore the video was mostly of other people. Which I like. I am not photogenic. His Aunt, who is on medication, held the microphone like a phone, very funny! He only got the head tables for interviews, but I think I would have liked more, just to see faces, what they were doing, etc. I was mostly talking to people then on the dance floor. I am sure your video will be exactly what you wanted. Have you hit the wedding planning withdrawal yet? I got my proofs two weeks after the wedding, but it can take up to 8 months for the finished album!!!

I can`t wait to see ours - or the proofs. Our photographer told us 3-4 weeks so it is almost 3 now. I don`t think I am photogenic either but my mother thinks I am :o) But the few pics I saw from guests, we are smiling and look so happy that I think we will get some really nice pics. Wedding withdrawal? I will say this - no one can truly explain how it will feel until it happens. I don`t miss the planning (at this moment) and I`m not longing for the wedding to still be in the future or anything like that. I`m glad it happened already and that our day was so phenomenal but I guess after having that focus on a big project for a year definitely leaves a 'what`s next?' feeling. So we`re trying to not focus on the next big thing and enjoy this time. We`re starting to find out about what to look for in houses but not pursuing it avidly yet. We do have a cruise to Alaska planned for June so that`s something fun to look forward to but I`m basically just trying to keep it in the day, which is a pretty good place too.

I'm glad to hear it. The what's next? has been gone for a little while. Now it's totally replaced with looking for a job...LOL. I started looking for houses too, but I realized I didn't want to move too far from the city. Unless I get a job out of the city, then it wouldn't matter.

This is in response to Elizabeth. I think you are the bride who got married on St. Pat's Day... correct? I did too. Remeber the one who got married at Russo's on the Bay. I would chat with you periodically on the wedding chat. How did everything go? I just got back from the Honeymoon so I wasn't sure if you had posted anything about it. Did you manage to get those Irish step dancers you wanted. What's really freaking me out is that you just mentioned that you are going to Alaska in June and so are we, on a cruise! I'm a little weirded out by this. What's the chances of that happening?

Hi Therese - Yes, one in the same. Welcome back. How was your wedding? Ours was a daytime wedding and as I`m sure you remember, the weather turned out really nice during the day. I hope your wedding was as wonderful as ours. The step dancers were a passing thought at one point but I never really pursued it. It was just fantastic though. Where did you go on your honeymoon? We went to New Orleans for 5 days and then of course we have the Alaska cruise. What a coincidence! What cruiseline are you going on? We are using Princess. 4 days on land with a rental car - we really want to check our Denali & Talkeetna especially then we will cruise down from Anchorage to Vancouver for 7 days. We are really excited. Whatever you do, take the excursion in Skagway or Juneau where you take a helicopter ride and land on a glacier and hike it. It`s supposed to be unbelieveably beautiful.
