Greece trip

when is the best time to go?

want to do some sightseeing but also want to go to the beach and tannnnnnnnnnnn

september good? would rather avoid lots of tourists

i *heard* that temperature is similar to hear. and i also heard AUGUST IS HOTTTTT. so i think september would be an awesome time to go. we are going in july, b/c our friends will be in greece that time, so the timing just worked out

August is mad-hot! September is better with less tourist and bearable heat

we spoke to several locals and they recommend mid-october - it's not too warm/cold, no tourist and airfares are considerably cheaper!

we hope to be back this year

well it doesnt rain form like may-oct

tourists are there from july-aug... LOTS of them..and thats when hotels and airfare is usually more$$

im going in Sept.

i WISH we coudl go in august but dh cant get off that month.
