Help! Has anyone NOT gone for their photos yet?

I haven't - and our wedding was in March. Besides adjustments and life's everyday tramas, my aunt died in june and its just hard dealing with the photos b/c she's in them.

I finally started focusing on them and saw a little slip the studio gave me when i picked up the proofs. It says if we don't go in within 60 days from picking up the proofs, then they can charge is 'then prevaling rates + a 18% service fee!'

My wedding was 3 months ago and I have not picked out mine either - It is difficult to do. I started pulling out ones that I am considering, but just dont feel like dealing with it yet.
My contract also has something similar to that, but I am hoping that they would notify me if I was overdue.
I still owe them about 800 dollars which is due when I drop off my proofs.

They had me pay my balance in full after I picked up my proofs - logic being, if I never come back, they got their money.

I have an appointment on the 17th. I'll let you know how it goes

My package came with 40, but I think I am going to be over 50.

Karen, good idea! I too negotiated to keep all my proofs and my pkg is 50 photos.
WE were married on 7.2 and haven't even sat down to go through the proofs to pull out our choices.
With moving into a new home, getting fired, then job searching and being rehired...who has had the time?

well we have the package that has 36 photos BUT we keep all proofs. so i'm sticking to the 36 and making my own album w/the proofs.

yes, it needs to tell a story and it IS difficult deciding, but in my instance, i can tell the story just as well with the proofs to supplement the main album.

Oh dear! Soundsl like quite a bit of chaos! I am glad to hear you are employed again...though I'm sure life is still in a major transition!

Do you have any clauses limited time frames on selecting your album photos like I do? I'm trying to get a better handle on this issue before my meeting next week.

I think that there was something listed on the contract...but the photog is a close biz associate of my FIL SO they do not beleive that it is applicable.

I guess I will see...int he next week or so.
But this year, Thanksgiving will be by us ...and I think christmas- especially the EVE will be by us.
