Hershey Park ...?

I've never been there and DH keeps trying to convince me to go ... is it worth it?

i like amusement parks, but honestly, i could live without them, especially if the lines are super-long.

is there anything to do there other than walk around the amusement park & eat chocoalte?

lol not at all ... i just don't want to spend a few hundred dollars on JUST those two things (hotel + food + entrance fees + gas + whatever else)

i'd rather make the drive to ohio to go to cedar point.

every other amusement park is like a kiddie playground in comparison.

It's not that far of a drive...you could probably skip the hotel stay and just drive back at night.

I would NOT recommend staying at Hershey's campground. I did that about ten years ago and it was HORRIBLE. No shade at all = tent is boiling hot by the time you wake up. Not good.

I like Hershey Park! But I haven't been since I was a kid. I prefer Dorney Park.

In the spring/summer they have concerts there. Thats really fun!

The park itself is ehhh. But you can take a tour of the Hershey factory which is awesome........and the entire town smells like chocolate!!!!
