High Protein Low Carb Recipes
Go!I always eat pasta bc I love it.
However, summer is coming and I'd like to bring down the poundage.
I will also accept links to recipes.

Re: High Protein Low Carb Recipes
It's not really a recipe...but Jack Daniels makes a pulled chicken. You just heat up the bag in the microwave (takes like 4 minutes) You can put it on a low carb wrap. The chicken has only 2g of carbs per serving. It's really good and easy!!Also, chicken fajitas- I just use the mix and make it with peppers and onions. You can put it over brown rice or eat on a low carb tortilla. The low carb tortillas/wraps I use are La Tortilla Factory.

No problem! I'm hoping some more girls answer because I can always use new ideas too.I've also started eating sandwichs without a roll..like turkey burgers. It saves on the carbs that way. I might just cut it up over a salad.

I cut up chicken breasts (or cutlets) into strips. Then take a bag of frozen veg (i use the onions and mixed peppers). a little oil in the pan, cook chicken until done, I drain the liquid from the chicken and then add the frozen veg and balsamic vinegar for like 5 minutes .. Its really good! I eat it alone or over brown rice.

Re: High Protein Low Carb Recipes
My personal fav... roasted cauliflower.I make a meal out of this. I actually leave it in longer than it tells you to because I like when it starts to get like almost burned...
Drizzle it with lemon juice before you throw it in and (I like) add some more as it's making its way onto my plate.
Obviously would make a great side-dish to something else healthy - - even just grilled a piece of chicken on a george foreman or something? Easy.
I prep a whole head of cauliflower. Cut it into small pieces. (They get to that lovely crispy stage better when they're smaller florets)
I separate into 3 different servings. Each one in a ziplock bag (the big ones)
Add some olive oil, crushed red pepper flakes, black pepper, maybe some garlic. Shake it all around and then toss in the fridge. You can roast it right away and then the other servings are all ready to go the next time you want it.
Annnnnnd you can do the exact same thing with broccoli (or you know, any other veggie of similar consistancy) which is also good -- I just happen to like the cauliflower best.
NOTE: It compleeeeeeeetely changes the flavor of cauliflower. Like -- I'm totally not crazy about raw cauliflower. It comes out amazing though.

Re: High Protein Low Carb Recipes
I'll make crustless quiches to have for breakfast in the AM - I just use Pam on large muffin tins.. and put my quiche mixture in it... (usually 6 eggs, some milk, a ton of veggies & topped with cheese) and bake for about 35 minutes til done.Or I'll line the muffin tin with slices of ham for a 'crust'.
They keep well in the fridge also - so I usually make them ahead.
