holiday gifts
i'm bored and need some further inspiration so i figured i'd start this thread
what are you / did you buy for your family and the in-laws for the holidays this year?
i bought about half the gifts i need:
my mom: she's getting married this summer so i might order her the chinese lanterns to be hung at the RH
my brother: bowflex adjustable dumbells
DH's neice (4 years old): one of those tag video games (like a game-boy but for kids)
Still need to get something for:
DH, MIL, FIL, and DH's nephew (3 years old).
I hope to receive:
a pandora bracelet from DH.
a watch from my mom.
i told DH to tell his parents (if they ask) that i want some new filters for my camera.
might ask for more stuff but not sure what yet

Re: holiday gifts
Ugh. I'm so lost as to what to get everyone. We are doing secret santa with DH's family this year so at least I only have to buy for one person, but out of ALL the people in the group, I got the most difficult- MIL!
I haven't the slightest idea what to get her.So far, here's my plan for gifts:
Mom: Kitchenaid Mixer
Dad: Wii Motion and Zelda Game Bundle
DH: Video gaming chair, clothes, etc.
And then I'm stuck!
ETA: Last year, I bought MIL a really nice wine fridge since she always has a ton of it in the house for entertaining. She exchanged it for a paper shredder.

Re: holiday gifts
DH and I went in on a michael kors watch for MIL. We got one for FIL last christmas and she had watch envy
I bought my dad two sweaters from banana this past weekend but my mom mentioned that he'd like a golf lesson certificate. So I'll probably get that for both of them...
DH and I decided to buy each other house stuff. He already got me this tripod lamp from pottery barn that I've been wanting. Yes, he's awful at surprises
He said he wanted canvas prints and other stuff to make our house more 'homey' since we are still renovating so I have to get on that pretty soon... I also am still going to get him small stuff like a few clothing items and I got him a new pair of timberlands.
I really can't think of anything I want. My mom got me the coach diaper bag and even though she said it's for no occasion I said to count it as my bday present.
OH, I would love a professional camera or a laptop but it ain't happening this year.

I got my presents early...a new TV for the bedroom and a few new pieces of furniture for our apartment. LOL.DH gives the 'I don't need anything for christmas' as a suggestion to me.
I did get him a new sweatshirt for work for when it gets cold in the store, socks, and underwear. Kinda wanna get something else too, his birthday is 4 days later.

Re: holiday gifts
I've gotten most of my side done online shopping yesterday and today
Mom- Canvas with 4 pictures of us from the wedding and a quote from the song we danced to.
Grandma- Framed canvas of a picture of me, her and my mom.
Older brother - Kenneth Cole button down shirt
Hubby - shirts, boxers, seasons 1-4 of The Big Bang Theory, sweats, NY Giants wine glasses
I'm thinking my 3 little brothers are all going to get gift cards because they are all at hard ages to buy for.
Completely clueless on what to buy dad, step-dad, fil and mil!!

I feel the same way!!!!
I am stuck on what to get DH. He is taking me to Ireland the day after Christmas and we just bought a very expensive professional camera for the trip. I want to get him something special - but I am not sure what yet. I have a feeling this might be the hardest gift to buy EVER!
