How far in advance...
would you send invitations for a surprise 60th birthday party? It's going to be the last Saturday night of JUne.

I'm throwing a surprise 60th for my dad next week! I sent the invites about 5 weeks before the party. I think 4 weeks would be good too!

June is a busy time of year (graduations, weddings, etc etc) so I would probably opt to go a bit earlier than later - 6-8 weeks....

June is definitely busy with graduations etc so i would send them end of April!
