I hate LIPA

I past a bunch of LIPA workers this morning about 5 times in 2 1/2 hours and everytime I passed they were still in the same spot reading the paper and joking. They were partial blocking the road so I slowed down to see what they were doing and one tapped on my window and told me to 'move faster' I flipped. I have been without power for 4 days and they were inconvenienced by me really.

I can't believe they STILL haven't restored it yet!!! I'd refuse to pay the bill for this month if I were you

Were there trees down in the area? If they were waiting for someone to remove a tree they cant do anything until its done. You may not even see the tree- it might be in someones backyard.
My husband works for Con Edison and he has been on storm duty and he has to 'stand guard' over down power lines until a down tree has been removed. So it actually looks like he is standing around doing nothing but its a whole process to get the power restored. He probably told you to keep moving because of a down line.

They actually had all the tree removed Monday lipa tree crew was there but thats up by my second job. I'm on day 5 of no power in lindenhurst but they really have no excuse in my area the past three years we have lost power in my block for no reason for a prolonged period of time (5+ days) even when the rest of the island has power and lipa has literally told use too bad if you don't like it there is nothig you can do about it.
