I have no backbone.

I have no backbone when I need it.

I asked a simply question, 'Who does this get sent to, client, or IRS?'My jerk of a boss GRABS my finger like a child and points to the IRS.

First of all, don't f**king touch me, and second of all, next time, use a post it. How do I know you have a power of attorney?

My husband told me to walk out.

Although that's what this guy deserves from me, I won't do that. After tax season, this guy is getting a 2 weeks notice from me (especially if I will need a W-2 for next year, I better at least keep my cool as much as it's killing me right now). I'm constantly angry, upset, and full complaints. I really felt like extending my arm and punching him sqaure in the face. You don't treat people like that.

I'm not having a very good week and it's only monday.

No HR, it's a private business with 4 people working.

I feel SO badly but I do think it is strategic/smart that you're keeping your cool as it sounds like you have a well thought out plan in place (ie - walking in 2 weeks so you can get a w2).

I would have a VERY, VERY difficult time with someone grabbing my hand/touching me....

And arent they legally obligated to give you a W2 regardless of how you quit?

yeah they are but I just feel like this guy would give me a hard time for some reason. Also I did my tax return here. I made a copy and scanned it to my computer at home already so at least that's done.

I'm just so angry. I left my last job for petty crap like this, and I feel like I was completely lied to.
