I haven't wanted to admit it's over -
I was married on June 16th of this year and this is my first post on this board. I still find myself checking the brides site as if I'm still getting married. I have to say I really miss it and wish I was sitll looking forward to it. When do you get tired of reading their board? I check it the same as before June 16th - what is wrong with me - Tara

Tara, I got married last November and still check the brides board everyday! I enjoy helping out the future brides with any advice I can give them on vendors, etc. Theres nothing wrong with you at all!

Tara, I'm in the same boat! My wedding was 2 weeks ago,and I went to a wedding last night and was upset because my day was over! I said to my husband 'I want to be the bride again', and he couldn't stop laughing! Men just don't get it! : ) I think it's okay that we still read the bride board... after all, we are the voices of wisdom and experience!

I still check it...
...but its starting to get less and less. My wedding was almost 3 months ago and I'm starting to get over the 'loss' of not having any wedding things to do!! LOL...it's funny - I'm starting to be less interested in the brides board and more interested in just being married, etc. etc...it is hard to be done!

Maybe we should start a support group :o)
I still come after 4 months, I find that I don`t usually post when it`s just the brides to be chatting but if there is something I know I can lend some of my experience to, I will post. It`s not like I still want to be a bride but you`re right, you definitely become addicted to it.

I am laughing at everyone's responses...
I never thought I would still be checking it like crazy - and I don't know why (I am addicted) I do hope as time goes by that I become less and less interested b/c I have to get back to work! I kept telling myself well when the wedding is over I won't be on it anymore (well that was a lie) I check it just as much! Anyway I am glad to see I am not the only nut out there. My husband cannot believe I still check it. It's true they don't understand. He coule care less that it's over - I on the other hand really miss it. I just miss dreaming about what it was going to be like! It was so much fun. Anyway what now. (I am trying to get into looking for a house) But so far it just doesn't compare to the pre-wedding... I as a bride to be never complained about the planning or the stress b/c I new I'd be sad when it's over. I hate to read on the brides site that they hate the stress of the planning. It's one of the best parts. Anyway thank you all for responding it really helped to know I am not alone.

Same here, I actually just posted a message. I was married June 10th and can't believe it's been over a month. Sometimes it's very depressing. That support group sounds great!!HAHAWelcome New Vendors
