I'm BACK! but not for long...

Hi girls!

I missed you all so much! I hurt myself at work last Thursday and was out of work until today. My boss is going on vacation Monday which is the only reason I came back since I'm still in A LOT of pain! I hurt my knee pretty bad but won't know more until after I get an MRI. Just in time for my Italy trip...WONDERFUL!

So I'm back for another week plus 2 days and then I'm gone for 2 weeks. DH is out of work for 2 weeks so getting to the computer while I was home was impossible (darn fantasy sports)!

So I finally got my album proof which was ok. We made some changes on it being that the design company used some of the pictures twice on some pages (RETARDED)! They also didn't use all the pictures we gave them...

On Tuesday our videographer called and said the video was all done but they needed out montage (they didn't have an extra copy). So I dropped it off that night and now it's Thursday and still no phone call. If they only had to add the montage then what's taking so long? I think I just have a bitter taste in my mouth from this company and I'm SUPER cranky and tired today. HOPEFULLY I get the phone call today because after the album being a little disappointing I just need SOMETHING to be right with this company!

SO....what did I miss?

How was it getting in to work???? Stay off your feet as much as possible!!!! Elevate, ice and all that good stuff!!!!

Lauren, I drove 40 mph so I wouldn't have to touch the brake since that hurts too much.

I have my leg elevated and trying to stay off as much as possible. Im' not filing anything and just making a pile on my desk. Hopefully next week I can get it all filed away before I leave for vaca.

Hiiii Linda!! Hope your knee feels better. My knee has been awful as well- I just got an MRI only to find out nothing's wrong (its just a stupid knee cap). I hate walking up and down stairs.

Hope you feel better in time for your Italy trip! See if your doctor can prescribe some naproxen...that stuff's pretty good for the pain

Thanks Colleen! I've had 4 knee surgeries. Only one of my right knee which is the one that I injuried. I used to have knee cap problems where my knee cap would slide out. Unfortuntately I feel your pain on the stairs!

I think Naproxen has sulfer in it so I can't take that. I'm just supposed to be taking 2 aleve twice a day but it's not doing anything. I'm going to give it the weekend (while I'm packing) and see how I feel. If it's not better by Monday I'll either call my mom (who works for my regular drs) or I'll call my ortho and see what he says. I had a cordizone shot and it doesn't seem to be helping.

AND CONGRATS ON THE CLOSING DATE!!!! SO EXCITING!!!!!
