Is this board becoming wedding chat part 2?

Lately there have been many postings regarding wedding planning items. I'm all for helping out the next bride - in fact, I occassionally visit the bride board and still respond to questions, but the cup runneth over onto the Newlywed board....and I fear its now becoming an extension of 'Bride Chit Chat'

Please know that I mean no disrespect to the brides. NONE AT ALL. Just trying to maintain the integrity of the board.

I wish the Newlywed board was here when I was planning! I often visit the other board to and give advice.

While I don't think its a big deal and I hadn't really thought about it before, I don't think that newlywed was out of line in her posting.

The board is for Newlyweds 'only'. I'm glad we have a place to go where the shoes, videos and such are behind us and we can talk about issues that face us today. I'm also am happy to help when I can, but when I want to help, I go to the other board or support via email directly.

No harm in helping them out

We were all there once too and I wish this board were here for me too. I'm open and willing to help any of the to-be-brides. I don't see any harm in it.

My MIL has a life threatening diseases. She was hospitalized for a week 2 weeks ago and we brought her back to the ER on Saturday. Chances are she'll be in for a minimum of another week, maybe 2. I'm struggling with what my role is.

I think that the Brides to be that come onto our Newleywed site may not know that we are still looking at the original chat room. And for any Bride to Be that may read this, I think it would be to your beneift to post your message on the bride to be chat site because there will be more opinions to hear. Just know that most if not all of us are still reviewing the original chat room and will help when we can.
