It's days like today..

That I wish I were a stay at home mom. I'd walk around the park with 'the baby' in the stroller, a cup of coffee, and a good book. Ahhhh.. to dream!

After I've finished all the housework, of course!

You guys are crazy if you think that's what a typical day is like for a stay at home mom.

Take that mental picture and add a crying kid. Make that 3. Give them all snotty noses.

Add in 20 diaper changes.

Maybe a bath where they sh*T in the tub.

Have each kid ask you for a drink 20 times.

And 'Can I have a snack?' 10 times.

... I could keep going if you want.

L'est we forget when you think a cute kid is coming to give you a kiss and then they sneeze directly into your mouth and open eye sockets.

Sneezes with traces of spaghetti-O boogers. Don't ask me HOW that is possible... I just know it is. Because it has happened to me.

I was a lifeguard for years in HS and summers during college.

Everyone, including myself, thought there was a candybar in the pool...but no, a kid crapped in the pool and I had to scoop it out.

Also, my 4 year old neice LOVES farting during 'tubby time' - she calls them 'rippers' and loves the bubbles! I will have to ask SIL if she has ever pooped in the tub by accident!
