Laid back bars that play 80s/90s music?

Sooo my co-worker's birthday is next week and she's turning 40. She likes to drink and dance but doesn't want to go to a club. She was hoping for something that plays 80's or 90's music but it's hard to find. Anybody know of any place- Brooklyn/Queens/Manhattan only- LI doesn't work for her. TIA!

there is a bar in brooklyn that has a pretty nice beer list and it has a BUNCH of 80s/90s games to play too. its pretty chill there. they play music too, but no one really dances

i cant think of the name (anyone???). if it sounds like something you want (idk with the no dance thing), ill find out the name from DH

That sounds promising! It's okay if there's no dancing. She's more or less just looking for the old school kinda vibe.

the alphabet lounge. my moh wanted to do my bach party there... but i wanted to go to carnival.
not sure what A.L is like.. but i know they play 80/90's.
