How did the 'no smoking' go yesterday? I'm sure you're doing great with it

I am 24+ hours smoke free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No cigarettes and it's been more tempting to smoke at work since my coworker hasn't quit yet.

I'm worried about the weekends though - and drinking!!!!!

The weekends are the hardest but you can do it. If you can say no once, you can do it again!

You got this Lauren! No worries! I hear the first 2-3 days is all about the nicitine and then it's all mental. I envy you for being strong enough to do this! I'm still a smoker (have to quit by November though) but I'll be your 'sponser' if you need to text/call someone when you want to have a smoke!

PS - make it a game for yourself and a money saver. I just figured it out and if you were paying $11 a pack at 20 smokes in a pack, then it's 55 cents a smoke. Every time you want to go outside and smoke, put 55 cents in a jar. Watch the money add it. Money is always a good incentive!

Weird thing is that I kinda wanted to quit but not really wanted it...LOL! Can I be a drinking smoker? Is that allowed????

Definitely need a sponsor who's going to tell me know and support me. It's so easy just to give in!!!

GREAT JOB!

The drinking part is the hardest...I quit smoking in November 2007. However, it wasn't until last January I stopped smoking when I would have a drink. It's so hard but you can do it!

I think I could - good thing is I don't want to buy cigarettes just to have them. So maybe if I only buy them when I know I'm going out drinking?? Does that make ANY sense?
