let the planning begin...

for my mom's 50th surprise birthday party!! Very excited that my dad's letting me have free reign with this.

We already decided (99.9% sure) that we're having it at Bella Verde in Deer Park, and using my DJ Dr. Beat for the entertainment. I have no idea what to do for CP's and where to find invitations. I've been looking online and really not liking the selections they have.

Anyone have any cute wording for a surprise birthday party invite? I'm tempted to DIY them. Also, any CP ideas? Not doing real flowers- looking to either do silk flowers, or some type of candle idea.

For my Mom's 60th, I went to Michaels and made the centerpieces for CHEAP... It was like this but on top of a mirror rather than in a bowl type...

I'm planning my aunt's 50th- i used 2 older pictures of her and one recent of her in the invite.

one of my lovely LIWers did it for me ;)
