Lucky Chengs vs. Lips

I much preferred Lips.

The food is actually pretty good (Mmm Lobster Ravioli) and the entertainment was better. I also felt like Lips was cleaner.

Overall, Lips was more fun and the women/men were dressed in better clothes and makeup and they were funnier.

I've been to both and I liked Lucky Chengs better. I found them to be way more fun and interactive. One of the 'waitress'' sat with us and had us cracking up. They were ALWAYS pulling people up on stage. Also, they walk by and embarass the bride to be a lot. However, I thought it was raunchier then Lips. Like I was not expecting to see what I saw!

We did Lips. I've been there a bunch of times. By the time my bach party rolled around, they had relocated to their new place.

The show is great. They have a much better set-up than in the old spot - much bigger stage. They'll drag bachelorettes up to the stage too, which is fun!

Food and drinks were good. They do a pre-set menu for groups, and no complaints here. The drinks are pretty potent, too

The only downside is that it's no longer in the village, really. However, you can easily get to bars on the Upper East side from the new location, or head downtown. We ended up in the village and Chelsea anyway, it was just a quick ride.

YES. I haven't been to Lucky Chengs but I do work with a bunch of people that are former drag queens and they have all said that the waitresses at Lips are definitely better dressed.

we went to lips for my B-party. and let me tell you the fun that we had!!!! the food was great, we were all kinda shocked and the drinks put me on the floor!!! the only thing is i wish the show was a little longer, but other than that, i would go back in a heart beat!!!

lips fooooood is aaaaaaaaamaaazing!omg besttt caesar salad EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. i would go JUST for that!.. it was that amazzzing!!!

and the drink are super strong!!

Haven't been to Lips, but the I remember the food at Lucky's sucking big ones.

I have been to lips. It was great. The food was good and they embarassed my sister (the bride) just enough without being over the top tacky. Yay!
