It depends on when the person performing the ceremony mails in your form!
You can always contact the town hall where you applied to get married and see if it has gotten back to them yet.
After the form arrives in the town hall its sent up to albany I believe and you get two copies of your marriage certificate from the town hall. A sort of parchment paper one and a regular one. You can also request copies from the town hall for $10 each and get that on the day if you need a copy right away.

6 weeks, mostly due to the fact that our priest forgot to mail the marriage license after our May 6th wedding. We sent an email to him on June 6th, and he apologized profusely for forgetting!

2 weeks or even less. We came home from our honeymoon and it was in our pile of mail.

I've been married for 30 days now and I'm stilll waiting!!But I did email them and it turns out that my church held onto it for two weeks. Sigh!
