Need help planning baby shower..

So some of you know the history with SIL and if you don't..It was bad. DH and I just found out she is 6 mo preggo and now we're trying to help her out. She is very private with everything and we can't figure out how to find out who (if there are any..) she hangs out with and who to invite. Any suggestions? Help!

Does she have FB? Maybe see who she chats with.

Also, is it even possible to get a look at her phone to see if any names jump out that she talks about to call them.

Last resort does she work? Maybe you could call her job and see if they are throwing her a shower. If you can't find any friends maybe you can participate in that one.

No facebook and her phone she never gives up... She does work but they wouldnt have a shower there for her..egh

Does she even want a shower? What about getting a few family members together to have a small one or buying a few gifts and getting her a gift card?

Did you check Babies R Us to see if she has a registry?

I know she wants a shower, she does have a registry...I figured that would be the next option..family only?

You can do family only and maybe a few friends of her mom..most showers have friends of the parents too

Her mom (and moms family) aren't around..It's pretty much just me, my husband and her aunt..

Wow that is a problem. Maybe her aunt could invite a few friends and a couple of yours..just keep it really small.

I would just ask her for a list of friends she would want invited to her shower. She doesn't have to know anythign else....
