New Mrs.

Yippee....I am a newlywed and would love to join your chat group! I got married 11/4/00. Yippee...
Help! I need opinions from those of you who had a Friday Eve. Wedding. Do you think 8:00pm is too late to start the cocktail hour? Should I try to push it back to 7:00 or 7:30? I kind of feel like dinner at 9:15ish is late. Any experiences you would like to share??

My proofs were back in 2 weeks, but I think most take about 4 - 6 weeks. I an sure the photograher will call you, but it does not hurt to give them a call.
It sounds like you had a great wedding day.

Congrats, and I'm glad that you had a great wedding (I too, used Crest Hollow). Welcome to 'the other side' of the wedding. It's much calmer here - no deadlines and no stress. Now, it's getting used to calling him 'husband'. Good luck in your job search.

We bought our home in Deer Park, close to Dix Hills and Commack. We looked into some of the previously mentioned Long Island towns like Wantagh, Seaford, Farmingdale and such. We noticed you get a lot more for your money if you are willing to move out a little more east.

We are less than a five minute ride from the train station (aprx. 45 min to NYC) and are in a very age diverse neighborhood. There are plenty of young couples as well as older couples. And everyone makes maintenance of the house and yard a priority.

Had the reception at Crest Hollow. They did a great job. Rave reviews on food. I was a nervous wreck in the morning and I shed a few tears of happiness on the alter..but nobody caught on. We went to Mexico (Cancun) for the honeymoon. Stayed at Melia Cancun. Lovely 5-star hotel. Now we are settling in..and starting to think about buying a home. He wants to get a townhouse..so the search is on. Glad the wedding process is over. Cant wait till the photos come back. How long does it usually take? Do I need to call the Photographer and ask?
