NWQOTD Friday & Saturday 6/24 & 6/25

I'm a baaaad NWOTW! Sorry, I had to run out the door yesterday for a 'go-see'! So much fun!

Anyway, TWO questions today!

Gardening:

Do you have a green thumb or a black thumb?

Definitely a black thumb. DH and I end up killing anything we touch. LOL We bought a bunch of succulents because they only have to be watered like once a month. They are very much NOT thriving. LOL

Next Vacation:

Where are you planning to go on your next vacation?

DH and I are hoping to surprise our son for Christmas with tickets to Disney. I've never been and I think I'll be just as excited as he is!

Gardening.....I'm terrible! Everything dies! A cactus, bamboo...it's terrible!

Vacation....I still want to take a honeymoon but DH works too much, :( he says once work slows down we can go but he doesnt know when that Is so it's hard to plan. I may just call up my best friend and take her on my honeymoon!

I don't know if I have a black thumb or a green thumb because I have never tried gardening !

Our next vacation will be to Costa Rica this August. I'm so excited !!

Definitely a black thumb. It's a shame, my mom is a great gardener.

1) definitely green! I love gardening, and had such a cute one at my old house. I'm kinda going crazy living on the second floor, but i'm setting up my planters today on my balcony, so that should suffice lol

2) we're going to montauk for 5 days in august with my family, and then going to disney for our 1 year anniversary in april!

1) definitely BLACK thumb it's pretty pathetic. i kill everything. my mom has an amazing green thumb so i'm even more disappointed that i can't pick up on her talent with plants lol

2) we're going to ITALY at the end of august/beginning of spetember as our 1st anniversary trip!!! however, we may be taking an impromptu long weekend away in boston for the 4th of july - we LOVE getting away

BLACK THUMB - I take after my mom who killed a cactus once...true story!

Vacations coming up - Italy in 6 DAYS! (but you girls know that already)...girls trip in August...upstate to visit my BFF from college and her new baby in August with DH...a short trip to Dartmouth for a friends wedding/1st anniversary Labor Day Weekend...then the Atlantis in October...I'm already trying to figure out our next vacation planning after that...at this rate we'll never own a house!

We both are TERRIBLE at gardening/plants. we are actually in the middle of getting a landscaper because our lawn is embarrassing. DH's solution to gardening is either mow everything down or pull everything out (like he did with our bushes.)

My bm's sent me an orchid in a pot and it died. very fast.

The only thing we can grow are weeds. and not even the good kind.

vacation- we just got back from the Maldives and we have Vegas in late august for DH's birthday. Then virginia beach in september

eta: For some reason, DH was shocked that I didn't like gardening (after we bought our house). I guess he thought women liked gardening because it's relaxing. WHAT??? I reached for a weed last week and there was a huge spider on it and I screamed like a banshee.

NOT RELAXING.
