Morning ladies!!!! Don't mind me - I'm a bit tired didn't get to sleep till after 1 am last night.

Name something special you look forward to in the year other than a holiday, birthday or anniversary. Give the back up to why that's a special occasion.

This came from last night - we have an Oscar's party every year. It's been a tradition for about 5 years now and more and more friends get added to it. It's just a great night to get together, have some great laughs and get friends to mingle. Best part is you can win the pool if you get the most right...who doesn't like winning $????

I would have to say the Allied Club of Queens St. Patty's Day party. I've been going since I'm 10 years old and it's a GREAT time. This year my dad is 'Man of the Year' so it's going to be a blast with family and friends there supporting my dad. What can I say, this Local 3 is like a cult and you just can't escape it.

It only started last year but we're doing a girls trip with all the girls that went on my Bachelorette Party. Last year we went all out because it was my B-Party but this year I think we're going to head down to AC for a weekend which will still be fun!

we spend a lot of time in the hamptons at his parent's house....i always look forward to heading out east and just enjoying the warm weather. we take walks to the bay and read in the pool and enjoy drinks on the decks.....love it!!!

also, one of my girlfriends and her husband have a ski house up at wyndam and they host a ski weekend every year! LOVE this weekend! we ski all day and then light a fire and just get silly at night

I'm looking forward to August!!

Every year, DH and I go up to my Grandma's cottage on a lake in the Finger Lakes region (I spent every summer there as a kid).
We pack up the car with the dogs...drive the 6 hour (each way) car ride.. and usually can only stay 5 or so days because of DH's job.

This year we've taken 10 days to play, relax and enjoy this gorgeous wine country!! Our days are spent relaxing on the dock, playing with the dogs in the water... the most strenuous thing we have to do is think about what to eat!!!

Keuka Lake is a special place to DH and I - so that's what's keeping me going til then!

I'm looking forward to a bunch this year! In March we have my Dad's 60th Surprise Bday. I cannot wait! My sisters and I are throwing it and he has no idea! Also, my 30th is in Sept. Dh has been talking about throwing me a party. His version of a party is a spread from popeyes and costco cake...so we'll have to work on that one.

Also, my younger sister is getting married in July..so that should be fun.

Our 10 year dating anniversary is coming up un June! I am really hoping DH has something special planned for us. We talked about taking a trip for this anniversary..so hopefully we'll finally have one! We have NEVER vacationed together before. Sad but true!!!

Usually we end up going up to a lake house in the poconos owned by a family friend. I love it there...so beautiful and relaxing!

Feb- we rent a house in the Poconos with friends. Its so fun. We just got back yesterday.

June- we go camping and down the delaware river with friends. So fun!

And august- rent a house in LBI with his cousins and brothers. Good times.

Spending a weekend or 2 in the Hamptons
Going to Yankee games
Doing a long weekend upstate
Doing outdoor summer activities like going to a water park, the Bronx Zoo, Coney Island etc.

every year, dh and i look forward to baseball season, watching our yankees and going to a few games.

i always look forward to summers with my best friend going to the hamptons and spending time at her aunt and uncles home, relaxing by the pool, going to garage sales on sunday and hitting the local bars. wonderful memories.
