**NWQOTD September 14th**

Since I had a crazy day at work today, here are today's questions:

1. What do you do for a living?
2. Is it where you plan to be long term?
3. What your least favorite part of the job?
4. What's your favorite part of the job?

1. I'm an administrative assistant.
2. I went to school for teaching, but I'm actually working for the training department at my company and hope that I can turn it into a training roll eventually
3. One of my co-workers who thinks I'm her assistant instead of my boss'
4. My boss actually. He is always joking around and is great to work for.

1. I am an educator! An Elementary School Spanish teacher!!!

2. Teaching!!! I thought about moving to principal, but then I'd be out of the classroom...

3. Lesson planning and dealing with mean parents...

4. Doing the activities I created for the class!!! I feel like a kid again! And my co-workers...they're great to work with!!

1. What do you do for a living? I'm a Tutoring Manager for a major test prep company. It's a stressful job involving sales, service, academics, recruiting and management.
2. Is it where you plan to be long term? I started this job for health insurance after having worked in theatre, which is where my degree is. I would like to go back, but I feel like a lot of time has gone by. I used to love my job and feel I had good prospects, but a LOT has changed so I don't know. The good thing right now is that I have back problems and this job allows me to work from home.
3. What your least favorite part of the job? We have all of this ridiculous stuff now with sales goals and call goals. I get yelled at if I don't make enough calls in a day on our monitored phones. It was NOT like this when I started
4. What's your favorite part of the job? I like working from home. I like helping kids achieve their goals. Most of my staff is really great and the students love working with them. It feels really good to get referrals. The people I work with are mostly good, but since we work from home now I never see them I'm excited because I've been here long enough that next year I get a 4th week of vacation. I get comission now.

1. Administrative Assistant for an Electricial Contractor

2. I want to work my way up to Project Manager but can't do it with the company I'm with, it seems that they don't place woman in higher levels (now if only I could prove it)

3. I would go on for HOURS on this but lately it's my boss' son working here!

4. The benefits I get and being in the union I grew up loving! <3 Local 3!!!! and it's only 20 minutes from home...

I'm a Paralegal.
Not sure yet.
In the summer is very slow, so it can be boring at times.
Learning new things everyday, and learning laws.
