**NWQOTD Tuesday**
Ok girls, I hope everyone bought their mega millions ticket, $244 million! This is for the good hearted women of the board (all of us)!If you won the $244 million by yourself what charity would you donate some of the money to?
I'm not really sure if this counts as a charity but I made a deal that if we were to win the $244 million by ourselves then we would give each and every Local #3 A Journeyperson that is out of work (over 2,000 - close to 3,000 and it's a 60+ week wait to get back to work) $10,000. It's not much but it would DEF help.
If that doesn't count as a charity, then of course with our parents both cancer suvivors, we would donate to either Sloan or the American Cancer Society!!

i always said that i would do what they did in 'it can happen to you' and give out metro-cards for one day so people can ride the train for free. I would also give to a few animal shelters.

St. Jude's Children's Research HospitalI'd set up an annual scholarship (does anyone remember 'Scott's Tots' from The Office?)
I'd also make a large donation to a local animal shelter system

Re: **NWQOTD Tuesday**
Since I believe I will win one day.. I've put serious thought in to this!!
There are several animal shelters/rescues on my list that would get money...
Along with women's shelters and various programs that help empower women.
Also programs and scholarships that help Kids..

this is such a cool idea! i'm all about those pay it forward moments! i'm still trying to work up the nerve to buy the person behind me at starbucks their coffee one day, just to do it, but i think people would be weirded out. new yorkers don't neccessarily appreciate these types of random acts of kindness...
anywho - i'd donate to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, as well as the Chrohn's and Colitis Foundation of America. i'd absolutely donate big $$ to Susan G. Komen as well.
